The ISEB Certificate in Data Protection is the ideal qualification for you if you have data protection responsibilities within your organization, company or group.

The syllabus promotes an understanding of how the data protection principles work in practice as opposed to simply focusing on the mechanics of regulation. It places the Act in the context of human rights and promotes good practice within organizations.

Course objectives
The ISEB Certificate in Data Protection has been designed to meet the needs of everyone working with personal data, giving them a comprehensive understanding of the wider data protection issues.

This Certificate aims to promote an understanding of how data protection principles work in practice rather than purely focusing on the mechanics of regulation. The syllabus places the Data Protection Act in the context of human rights as well as promoting good practice within organizations.

Who should attend?
The Certificate provides an entry point for those with data protection responsibilities as well as providing delegates with an opportunity to update their knowledge of current Data Protection legislation and practice. There are no formal entry requirements and candidates may choose whether or not to sit the examination at the end of the study period.

This data protection training course is non-residential.
