IOSH Managing Safely:

Overview:
The practical programme is designed to provide managers and those with leadership responsibilities with the knowledge and skills to integrate effective health and safety management and loss control practices into their leadership role.

Duration:
4 days

Managing Safely covers 7 modules:
- Introduction to managing safely
- Assessing risks
- Controlling risks
- Understanding your responsibilities
- Identifying hazards
- Investigating accidents and incidents
- Measuring performance
- Protecting our environment

Target Audience:
Managing Safely is for managers, supervisors in any sector, and organization. It is designed to give managers understanding on the actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their area. It will give them confidence and the knowledge and tools to tackle their health and safety issues responsibly and practically.

On completion:
Successful delegates, after completion of assessments/ assignments, are awarded the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.

Trainers:
All trainers are experienced and have had a minimum of 25 years experience in manufacturing industry, giving an extra dimension to the course
