Introduction to BS 25999
Course Description
BSI’s “Understanding Business Continuity” course provides participants with a solid understanding of business continuity management. This introductory course is based on industry best practice and guidelines for business continuity and reviews the “Business Continuity Management – Code of Practice” released by BSI, BS 25999-1:2006. Practical exercises and instructor-led discussions will help students understand the benefits of business continuity management in an organization.

- State the comprehensive definition of Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Describe the benefits of BS 25999 to an organization
- Identify and sequence the elements of the BCM lifecycle
