Overview
This course is designed for managers and supervisors who have responsibility investigating and reporting accidents and incidents.

Course Content:

The course will enable participants to undertake accident investigation and prepare reports. 
- Legal requirements and the requirements of RIDDOR to report accidents 
- Accident causation and the theories behind the causes of accidents 
- Accident recording 
- Accident investigation and the selection of an investigation team 
- Company method of investigation and recording 
- Writing a report and what should be considered 
- Practical exercise 
- Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 
- Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995
