Course Description
BSI’s “Implementing EN 16001 Energy Management System” training course provides participants with practical tools and methods for implementing an energy management system (EnMS) based on the EN 16001:2009 to improve energy efficiency reduce costs and lower greenhouse gas emissions. Students will learn how to obtain top management support for the implementation of an energy management system. Exercises prepare students to identify key requirements, create documentation, and prepare project plans.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this energy management training course, students will be able to:
-Identify and justify the resources required for implementation
-Define the scope of an energy management system
-Produce an implementation project plan
-Implement and energy management system in line with the requirements of EN 16001
-Develop an energy policy; processes, objectives, documentation and measurement techniques

-Responsible for energy management within their organization
-Interested in improving their energy efficiency such as Energy Managers
-Interested in applying an energy management system based upon industry best practice
