ILM Level 2 Award in Team Leading

Duration:
Minimum of 65 guided learning hours, excluding assessment, to be completed normally within one year, or up to a maximum of 2 years.

Structure
A short induction lasting 3 hours, plus minimum 2 hours’ tutorial guidance, plus
- Four 15-hour modules:
- T1 Team Leading Skills
- T2 Getting the Work Done
- T3 Leading People in Teams
- T4 Communicating with People

Learning and Development
Flexible, to suit the requirements of participants, sponsors and Centres. May include elements of open/distance/online learning as well as workshops to complement a recommended minimum of 12 hours of workshops to provide collaborative learning. Reflective learning and personal development are also essential features of the programme, to be achieved through the Personal Development Record

Assessment
Each participant must complete to a satisfactory national standard
- a Knowledge Assessment (one question per segment)
- a short presentation, and
- a Mini-Project
