This course is designed for those who have or are about to enter the construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce to help them understand the potential hazards that they face at work on site.

The course covers The Health & Safety at Work Act and the regulations relevant to the construction industry. To include:

Legal Compliance

Competence
This course will ensure that delegates will be able to understand the need to prevent accidents
and have an understanding of health and safety law. To identify how their role fits into the control and the management of the site and to understand the need for risk assessment and method statements. To appreciate the need to perform safely and to stop and ask for advice if not sure.
