First Aid Basic Skills Update (HSE Approved)

This 3 hour session is designed to keep people trained in either First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at work (EFAW) up to date with the skills to carry out those roles . The HSE strongly recommends that people providing First Aid in the workplace have annual updates.

The course covers:

- Primary and secondary surveys
- CPR,
- Dealing with the fitting casualty
- Control of bleeding.

Assessment is carried out continually throughout the day by the course trainer.
