First Aid at Work Requalification (HSE Approved).

About the Course:
The First Aid at Work Requalification course complies with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and has been approved by the Health and Safety Executive. This course refreshes and updates the essential knowledge and skills that First Aiders need to carry out their role and deal confidently with major and minor injuries and illnesses.

The course runs between 09.00 - 17.00 over two consecutive days, with refreshments, lunch and all course materials provided.

Target Audience:
It is aimed at First Aiders who hold a current three year First Aid at Work Certificate, but who are near the expiry date. First Aiders may attend this course up to three months before their certificate expires and up to 28 days beyond the expiry date.

Any First Aider who is not able to undertake a requalification within a maximum of 28 days after the expiry date of their 3 year certificate will be required to retake a full four day First Aid at Work course.

Assessment:
Assessment is by a multiple choice exam on the final day, and a practical skills test. Successful delegates then receive a HSE Approved Certificate, valid for a further three years.

Requirements:
Students will be required to bring their existing First Aid at Work Certificate to the first day of the course.
