First Aid at Work Re-qualification

The course syllabus is designed to update and refresh First Aid at Work training. Candidates must have successfully completed the (four-day) First Aid at Work course. It is recommended that candidates attend this course two to three months before their First Aid at Work certificate expires. 

Normally courses are presented over two working days.

Candidates will gain further theory and practical experience and will be conversant with any new protocols that have been introduced.

Upon successful completion, candidates will be awarded a Health and Safety Executive First Aid at Work Certificate, valid for a further three years.

The course addresses: 
- Emergency Scene management 
- C.P.R. Airway management 
- Control of bleeding 
- Management of unconsciousness 
- Burns and scalds
