Aims and Objectives:
The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to enable first aid to be given to employees if they are injured or become ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with five or fewer employees and to the self-employed.

This First Aid at Work course covers the Code of Practice for Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and discusses COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).

Successful completion will prepare delegates to contribute to the organisations Health and Safety management system.

Course Content: 
- Introduction to first aid. 
- Bleeding. 
- Dealing with burns. 
- Respiration. 
- Dressing and bandages. 
- Dealing with unconsciousness. 
- Fractures. 
- Transporting injured persons. 
- Dealing with shock. 
- CPR.

Certification:
All delegates who successfully complete this course, will be awarded the:
HSE Approved First Aid at Work Certificate (3 Year) and First Aid Books.

The Venue:
This course can be delivered at one of our dedicated training centres, alternatively, we can deliver this course at your own premises.
