Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004 - Internal Auditing

This two day course has been designed to enable delegates to carr y out effective internal
audits of environmental management systems. In addition, delegates will gain an
understanding of the concept behind environmental management systems and the benefits
they can bring. Delegate workshops/role play and interactive accelerated learning
techniques assist in consolidating the tutorial elements of the course.
The course is intended to prepare internal auditors for informed decision-making and to assist
them in positively influencing the organisations success. By reference to ISO 19011
(Guidelines for quality and/or environmental management systems auditing) delegates will be
shown the role of internal auditors and how they interface with other management activities.
