Effective Change Management

In these difficult and uncertain times, it is reassuring to know that there is one thing we can rely on - change! Supporting a team through this process is a necessary and key task for any manager. To do this effectively, managers need to have at their disposal tools to enable them to analyse the nature of the change, an understanding of the process of change and how individuals can be encouraged to embrace change.

Indicative Content:
- Defining change and the dangers of strategic drift
- Identifying internal and external forces for change
- Analysing and minimising resistance to change
- Selective effective change management strategies
- Structure, culture, politics and power
- Encouraging and supporting others through the change process; the manager's role
- Structure, culture, politics and power and the role and importance of change leaders
- Evaluating and celebrating change

The day will start at 8:30 with coffee and croissants. The course will run from 9:00 until 4:00
