Overview
You know how to create basic web pages. You now need to create professional looking websites and you may also need to create web applications that change dynamically. In this course, you will use the advanced features of Dreamweaver 8 to design and develop professional looking websites by adding flash objects and utilising layers and behaviours and administer database-driven pages with forms and master/detail pages.

Course Objective
You will create and develop professional-looking web pages using Dreamweaver 8, establish server connectivity and create and manage database records.

The target students for this course are students who can create a website in Dreamweaver MX 2004, add web pages that contain table and image content, use Cascading Style Sheets to format their page content and upload the web site to a server.

Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students need to be able to:
- Create a web site
- Create web pages and understand basic HTML code
- Understand page properties
- Add content manually or from Microsoft Office
- Apply headings and lists (ordered and unordered)
- Add and format tables
- Add pictures and background images
- Format a web page using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Create links to other web pages
- Publish a web site
- Skills

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Use templates and libraries

- Create and validate web forms
