Many companies are not aware that they are responsible for the Health & Safety of
contractors that are commissioned to carry out work on their premises or sites within their
jurisdiction. This can cause major problems to any company if an accident occurs involving
their contractor and the company has not ensured that the contractor has the necessary
Health & Safety risk assessments and safe systems of work in place. This course ensures
that delegates are fully informed of the legal and practical considerations of controlling
contractors.
