Aims and Objectives
To provide delegates with:
- The knowledge to recognise a Confined Space
- An awareness of Confined Space legislation
- An understanding of associated hazards
- An understanding of the use and application of a permit to enter system

- Health and Safety at Work Act !974, The Confined Spaces Regulations 1988 and other legislation applicable to Confined Spaces
- Recognition of a Confined Space
- Dangers of Confined Spaces
- Hazards associated with confined spaces
- Risk Assessment
- Method Statements
- Permit to Work systems
- Emergency Procedures
- PPE

Additional information:
Candidates will be required to provide the following:
Personal Protective Equipment. (E.g. hard hat, hi-viz vest, safety boots, gloves)
