A course designed for delegates whose employment requires them to work in confined spaces and use Escape Breathing Apparatus for safety purposes.

AIM

To enable the student, by completion of the course, to demonstrate knowledge of the
Confined Space Regulations 1997; use of and relevant procedures relating to using
Escape Breathing Apparatus.

CONTENT

• Knowledge of the physiology of breathing
• Knowledge of Breathing Apparatus
• Knowledge of atmospheric measuring instruments
• Donning and Doffing Procedures
• Dangers of Confined Spaces and relevant laws
• Safe Systems of Work
• Emergency procedures

DURATION

Five hours.

CERTIFICATION

An MC2 Certificate upon successful completion of the course.
