Conducting Workplace Investigations and Hearings
Conducting Workplace Investigations and Hearings

*** Please note that this course will take place in London but the exact venue will not be confirmed until 4 weeks prior to the course start date. ***

In brief:

Not following statutory disciplinary and grievance procedures will deem a dismissal automatically unfair and can result in costly disputes at tribunal, where compensation may be increased by up to 50%. If you face a tribunal you will have to illustrate that you conducted a full and fair investigation into complaints about or by an employee. In order to reduce this threat and limit compensation claims, you must not only have a sound understanding of the legislative and procedural environment, but must also master the softer skills necessary to deal with highly contentious, challenging scenarios. This seminar bridges the gap between theory and practice, giving clear, practical and business-focused advice for resolving disputes and to avoid costly mistakes. Through extensive 'real life' role-play scenarios, you will get the chance to practise and hone your skills.
