About the course:
This theory-based course is aimed at those with previous experience of inspection and testing and a good working knowledge of the 16th Edition Wiring Regulations.
City & Guilds certification is achieved on successful completion of both the practical assessment and written examination
Pre-requisites:
Delegates should have practical experience of inspecting and testing electrical installations. We recommend that the City & Guilds 2381 is achieved prior to taking this course.
Topics include:
> requirements of 16th Edition Wiring Regulations for inspection, testing and certification
> using Guidance Note 3
> use of test instruments
> test result verification
> inspection
Course duration:
3 + 1 days (exam follows after the end of the course, click course date below to view exam date.)
Assessment:
2½ hour written examination and a 4 hour practical examination. We can arrange practical assessments for candidates who have taken the written examination elsewhere.
