About the course
This new course is designed for those who test and commission new installations.
It is ideal for those with little experience of the inspection and testing process.
This is a new qualification which will allow electricians to demonstrate that they understand the fundamentals of inspection and testing. It can be used as a qualification on its own or be used as a stepping stone to the more advanced 2391-10.
Pre-requisites
Good knowledge of the electrical regulations and we would recommend the 2382 17th Edition.
Would be suitable for those who have completed an apprenticeship. Some practical testing experience is desirable.

> reasons to test installations
> safe isolation
> selection of test instruments
> sequence of tests
> practical testing of installations
Course duration
4 + 1 days (exam after the end of the course date, click course date below to view exam date.)
Assessment
1 hour and 40 minute online examination.
2 hour practical assessment.
