Course Aim:
This is a 3 day intensive course designed to cover the requirements if BS7671 in respect of inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations.
Duration:
This is a 3 day intensive course with a half day additional practical assessment, has also a written examination to be taken on the 3rd day (the examination will normally be in the evening after 6pm). Target Group (Candidates must be over 18 years old): This course is aimed at qualified electricians whom have recently completed a course on BS7671 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and those who will be involved with inspection. However new entrants to the industry may also be suitable for this course. Course Content: The 3 day course is mainly theoretical but practical elements will also be covered. The course includes: - Statutory and non-statutory regulations - Conditions relevant to testing in agricultural, commercial, domestic and industrial installations - Safe working practices for the inspection process - Appropriate test equipment - Identify possible cause of poor tests - Recording test results - Prepartion for assessments Candidates who are succesful in both the written and the practical elements will achieve the City & Guilds 2391-10 Important Note: You will need to bring with you the latest edition of ISS's guidance note three and preferably a copy of BS7671 17th Edition wiring regulations.
