About the Course:
This course is designed to ensure that practising electricians are familiar with the IEE Code of Practice in respect of Portable Appliance Testing.

Course Content:
- Equipment construction & classification.
- Inspection frequency.
- Visual Inspection.
- Combined Inspection & Testing.
- Test Equipment.
- Recording of results.
- Procedures for damaged & faulty equipment.
- Extension leads.
- Microwave ovens.
- Information Technology equipment.

Timetable
9.00am to 5.30pm.
Buffet lunch provided during half hour lunch break.
Morning & Afternoon tea & coffee.
Exam 6.30pm - 7.30pm same day, unless otherwise advertised.

Cost
£180 (including exam fee) + V.A.T. per candidate

NB. All candidates must be registered 6 weeks prior to course start date.
