This qualification is aimed at practicing electricians with relevant experience and is intended to ensure that they comply with the format, content and applications of the requirements for Electrical Installations (BS 7671: June 2008). The qualification covers topics such as protection for safety, selection and erection of equipment, and inspection and testing to meet the standards of the IEE Wiring Regulations.
Successful learners could progress to our qualifications in Inspection, Testing, Design and Certification of Electrical Installations (2392).
Learners that achieved the City & Guilds Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installation (BS 7671: June 2001), the 2381, can undertake our update qualification - the 2382-20.
