Requirements for Electrical Installations Wiring Regulations
(17th Edition) BS7671:2008 (C&G 2382-10)
Price: The price of this course is £480 + VAT for the course and £40 + VAT for the City and Guilds Examination.
You will need to pay the City and Guilds Fee (£40 + VAT) directly to the trainer once you have booked your course.

Objectives:
The Regulations form the basis of safe working practice throughout the electrical installation industry. It is essential that all competent electricians understand & comply with them. By the end of the programme, participants will be able to achieve by examination C&G Certification for the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2381-10)

Online Exam
Delegates will complete a 2 hour “online exam” which consists of 60 multi-choice questions & is set & marked by City & Guilds.
Reference Books & Material
It is essential that delegates arrive for the training course with a copy of the current 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (Red book) BS7671:2008 as this will be required for the open book on-line exam. This book is available from Amazon and all good book sellers ref: ISBN-13: 978-0863418440 for £60 - £65.
Additionally the NICIEC Learners Guide for City & Guilds 2382-10 and 2382-20 is also required. The book is useful for pre-course reading as it explains the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations in layman’s terms and contains many pictures, diagrams and worked examples with answers. The book will be needed for the course as it provides a much more practical interpretation of the Regulations and improves the chance of first-time success in the exam. This book is available from NICIEC, Amazon, Tesco on-line and all good book sellers ref: ISBN-13: 978-1906091040 with a RRP of £25.
Candidates should also bring a "scientific" calculator for the course and the exam.
Please bring a photographic ID of yourself, such as a photo driving licence or passport. Candidates who cannot prove their identity are not allowed to sit the 2382-10/20 exams.
