CIEH Principles of Risk Assessment

Course Content: 
- Understanding the stages of Risk Assessment 
- Know the definitions of accident, hazard, risk, safe, danger 
- Be able to break work down into tasks, activities, items of plant, materials etc 
- Be able to identify hazards 
- Be able to identify the people affected by hazards 
- Be able to qualitatively analyse the likelihood and severity of risk 
- Be able to apply principles of control 
- Be able to evaluate the risk, based on the control measures provided 
- Be able to record the findings of the assessment and prepare an action plan

Cost & Method of Payment:
£95 + VAT per person
Single company group rates on request.

Target Group:
Any employee involved in or about to be involved in the Risk Assessment process.

Entry Requirements:
Recommended: CIEH Level 2 Health & Safety or IOSH Level 2 Working Safely

Qualification obtained at end of course & Awarding Body:
NVQ Level 2 certificate by examination
Chartered Institute of Environmental Health

Course Duration:
6 hours

Attendance Details:
Full time.

Weekdays 0900 to 1200 & 1300 to 1600
