CIEH Principles and Practice of Risk Assessment

Course Content: 

- Understanding the purposes for, and benefits of, using a Risk Assessment approach to the management of health and safety 
- The basic principles of carrying out risk assessments in practice. 
- Understanding the key legislative requirements on risk assessments 
- Carry out, record, monitor and review risk assessments within their own working environment.

Cost & Method of Payment:
£150 + VAT per person – Includes registration fee and certificate.
Company group rates on request

Target Group:
Anyone about to be involved as team leader in the Risk Assessment process.

Entry Requirements:
Recommended CIEH Level 2 Health and Safety Or IOSH Working Safely

Qualification obtained at end of course & Awarding Body:
NVQ Level 3 Certificate by successful completion of a workplace assignment
Chartered Institute for Environmental Health Certificate

Course Duration:
1 day tuition plus assignment of approx 3 to 6 hours

Attendance Details:
Full time.

Weekdays 0900 to 1200 & 1300 to 1600

Venues:
1. On client’s site (min 5 delegates)

3. A convenient local centre
