CIEH Level 1 – Health & Safety in the Workplace

Course Outline:
A nationally recognised and accredited entry level health and safety course for all employees and employers.

Aims and Objectives:
To provide an awareness of key health and safety issues and the role that employees play in keeping themselves and others free from harm at work.

Course Content: 
- The importance of health and safety in the workplace 
- The scope of hazards and risks in the workplace 
- The range of workplace conditions that can affect health and safety 
- The requirements relating to reporting, first aid, personal protection and personal hygiene

Suitable For:
Everyone entering the workplace for the first time – either as part of a work experience programme or at the start of employment – and those starting a new job, as part of their induction programme.
