Objectives To look at the principles of Change Management, how it can impact on the workplace, and understanding and managing resistance to the process.
Duration Course duration is ½ day.
Who Should Attend Managers and Supervisors who will be required to introduce change through new processes and or systems which will affect the operation of the business.
Course Content The course will consist of an overview of what is Change Management, how it fits with the concept of Continuous Improvement and how it impacts on the business. It will set out why people are resistant to change and how best to manage this scenario. Delegates will participate in activities and workshops to help consolidate the new skills gained during the session.
Outcomes On completion of the course, delegates will have a greater understanding of Change Management and how it can be used in a positive way to help bring about changes where and when required.
This course sits alongside Continuous Improvement with a strong link between the two subjects. Undertaking both will help give a more rounded management knowledge on both process and people change.
Delegate Preparation There is no requirement for delegates to have any previous knowledge of the subject, however, suggestions around improvements or changes within their own business would be useful to use as working examples.
