CCNSG SAFETY PASSPORT RENEWAL
CCNSG Safety Passport Renewal

This course is for anyone requiring a Safety Passport, when carrying out repairs or maintenance on Client sites.

All delegates must produce their National Insurance number, plus THREE passport size photographs and their current CCNSG Safety Passport.

The Safety Passport is issued to successful delegates who have already attended a standard (2-day) course and whose current CCNSG Safety Passport has expired (within three months of the course date) or is due to expire.

On successful completion of the course, the Safety Passport issued is valid for a 3 year period from the expiry date of the delegate’s current passport, or a 3 year period from the expiry date on the safety passport currently held but not exceeding 3 years and 3 months from the date of the course.

AIM
These courses are delivered by specialist Health and Safety lecturers who are accustomed to working with a wide range of trainee abilities. The aim of the courses is to update delegates’ knowledge of Health and Safety so that after an appropriate site induction, they are able to work at significantly less risk to themselves and others.

CONTENT 
- Safe Behaviour at Work – Unsafe acts and unsafe conditions 
- A Safe Place of Work – Confined space entry, excavation, permit to work systems, safe use of access equipment, safety harness inspection, inertia reel devices, site transport, protecting the environment, safe lifting & manual handling 
- Safe Systems of Work – Asbestos & hazardous substance, personal hygiene, LOLER & PUWER, electricity, machinery/equipment isolation, hand-arm vibration and noise

DURATION
One Day.

ASSESSMENT
A multi-choice question paper after each session.
