BSC Level 2 – Manual Handling Risk Assessment

This one day British Safety Council course was developed to meet the needs of line managers, supervisors, team leaders, heads of department and junior managers. The course will give participants a practical understanding of Manual Handling risk assessments. The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 require employers to assess any hazardous manual handling tasks that cannot be avoided and reduce the risk of injury, so far is reasonably practicable. This course provides formal recognition of an individual's ability to undertake a Manual Handling risk assessment in line with the HSE's guidance.
