Who Should Attend?
Those who are involved in conducting COSHH assessments in the workplace: 
- Health & Safety Advisors / Managers, 
- Works Managers and Supervisors 
- Consultants

Aims and Objectives
To give delegates practical guidance on how risks to health from hazardous substances can be assessed.

Also to outline the legal requirements for assessments and to provide current guidance on exposure levels.

Expected Outcomes
Having attended the course delegates should be able to: 
- Appreciate the nature of risk and how it is created. 
- Gather and evaluate critical information. 
- Use this information to make a rational assessment of risk. 
- Understand the principles of control of risk. 
- Conduct risk assessments for the purposes of COSHH.

Delegates will be expected to complete an examination set by the BOHS. Delegates who successfully pass the examination will receive a course certificate from the BOHS.
