BIIAB National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH)

This qualification is required when application is made to your local licensing authority for a personal licence to retail alcohol in premises including any venue or site where alcohol is sold:

- Convenience stores
- Sports & social clubs
- Night clubs
- Entertainment establishments
- Leisure parks
- Casinos

The course covers:
- The licensing authority Licensing objectives
- Licensable activities Responsible retail sale of alcohol
- Personal licence holder’s responsibilities Temporary events notice
- Police powers Protection of children
- Premises licence Operating schedules
- Designated premises supervisor

This one day course is designed to enforce your knowledge of the relevant areas of legislation and identify any weak areas. A coursebook is supplied for pre-attendance study and sample practice questions will be set.

The course concludes with a 40 minute exam consisting of 40 multiple choice questions.
