This is a well-recognised professional and technical qualification for asbestos consultants.  Analysts and technicians will broaden their understanding of analytical and sampling methods, health effects, legislative requirements and the management and control of asbestos in the workplace.

The course includes:
-Legal requirements of CAWR, ASLIC, Asbestos (Prohibitions) Regulations, Special Waste Regulations and all other relevant safety regulation
-HSE’s Approved code of Practice and EH/HSG Guidance
-Health effects of asbestos and other fibres
-Theoretical basis of sampling and analytical methods ; MDHS 39/4, MDHS 77, MDHS 100, etc
-Asbestos removal management and waste disposal
-The role of the consultant and analyst
