Asbestos awareness training is a legal requirement for employees whose work has the potential to expose them to asbestos. This is basically anyone who is likely to disturb the fabric of a any building built before the year 2000 even minor works such as drilling, chasing out etc.

• The purpose, choice, limitations, proper use and maintenance of respiratory protective equipment,
• Emergency procedures, (how to deal with an asbestos incident)

This provider can provide UKATA registered Asbestos Awareness Training. Their courses are designed to exceed the HSE's requirements & focuses heavily on how, in real terms, you protect your workforce. Courses are held at either your own venue or at an external conference centre. Up to 18 attendees per course, the content of which will be bespoke for your employees environment. Duration of this course is 3 hours and includes final multiple choice examination. Upon completion of the course, a certificate valid for 12 months will be issued to the delegate, in line with HSE guidance.
