Introduction to IT
The modern home and workplace is filled with technology. IT applications and hardware are now common place and whilst it is a widely held belief that all people are “IT Literate”, this is not always the case.
For those people who lack confidence with IT or those who have never used a Laptop or Personal Computer before, this widely held belief can be a problem.
A lack of IT skills can lead to a general lack of confidence, particularly within a new workplace. If you are new to IT, Word Processing, Email, Internet and the basic set up of a modern Computer, MC2 Training Solutions has designed a course for you.
This course is designed to give students a full understanding of basic IT principles. The course is held over one day and is ideal for those students that need a general basic introduction to IT systems.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Any worker, student or home learner with a desire to learn the very basic IT skills required to operate a PC or Laptop.
WHO SHOULD NOT ATTEND?
Any worker, student or home learner with previous IT / PC experience. This is a basic introductory course and intermediate courses are available for more confident IT users.
AIM
To demonstrate the basic principals of IT Hardware and Software including email, internet usage, mouse, keyboard, icons, basic Microsoft Software, Saving and Opening files, downloads and general PC setup.
