This course covers basic bookkeeping and takes delegates through the accounting process from the generation of source documentation to the preparation of final accounts.

Is it right for me?
Suitable for staff with no bookkeeping experience - maybe joining an accounting office and needing to acquire a basic introduction to the accounting process as well as a working knowledge of fundamental bookkeeping skills.

What will I learn?
By the end of this course you will be able to:
•Manage the books of prime entry (sales day book and purchases day book)
•Perform double entry bookkeeping
•Compile accounts to trial balance, income statement and balance sheet
•Account for items such as:
•Depreciation
•Accruals
•Prepayments
