The aim of the course is to provide the student with the theoretical and practical skills to be able to undertake air sampling and clearance testing for asbestos removal. The course will also bring the students up to date with the new clearance testing procedures outlined in HSE’s L28 (4th edition 2002)

The course includes:
-Legal requirements of CAWR, MDHS 39/4 and EH10
-Air sampling equipment and techniques
-Flow measurement, correction and calibration
-Enclosure entry procedures and inspection
-Dust disturbance methods
-Personal and static samples
