Who is this course designed for?
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations require that those mounting and using abrasive wheels (including petrol driven and electrical powered disc cutters and angle grinders) are required to have training in the hazards specific to their machinery.

What will the course cover?
Our course covers the serious risks concerned with this type of equipment. We will look at safe (and unsafe) methods of work, the consequences of accidents, importance of correct set up of machines and the selection, storage and markings of discs, as well as long term health effects of noise, vibration and dust inhalation and the protective equipment required when using abrasive wheels.
