- Supervisors 
- Employee Representatives 
- Health and Safety Advisors

Aims and Objectives
To provide delegates with a broad understanding of health and safety issues when handling hazardous chemicals at work. To outline the methods of controlling exposure and to discuss the typical precautions to be taken when using hazardous chemicals and to enable delegates to undertake assessments of hazardous substances.

Expected Outcomes
Having attended the course delegates should be able to: 
- State how to recognise hazardous chemicals in the workplace. 
- Explain how exposure to chemicals can affect the body. 
- Demonstrate the ability to undertake COSHH assessments. 
- Describe the hierarchy of control measures. 
- Identify the precautions needed to limit exposure. 
- State the principal legal duties placed on the employer and employee.

Delegates who successfully complete the training will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance.

- Monitoring Arrangements in the Workplace
