- Developing and verifying robust containment actions
- Choosing an interim containment action

Identify and Verify Root Cause
- Root cause problem solving
- Additional techniques: tally charts, Pareto analysis, histograms, scatter diagrams, brainstorming techniques

Choosing and Verifying Permanent Corrective Action
- Review of idea generation techniques
- Analogy techniques, functional analysis, lateral thinking

Plan and Implement the PCA
- Techniques for successful implementation

Prevent Recurrence
- Capturing lessons learnt

Congratulate the Team
- Closing problem solving projects
