City and Guilds 2382-10 is the benchmark qualification for all electricians who are seeking to achieve the 17th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations qualification and gain more of an insight into this important standard.

City and Guilds 2382-10 is widely recognised throughout the electrical industry as the “must have” qualification, as a requirement to show that there is a thorough understanding of the 17th Edition.
If you are involved in domestic, commercial or industrial electrical installations, the 17th Edition, City and Guilds 2382-10 qualification is widely regarded as the mandatory requirement for anyone involved in the electrical installation industry or is likely to be supervising those that are carrying out electrical installations.

Any person who needs to prove that they have the necessary underpinning knowledge of the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations in the electrical industry, will be required to show evidence by way of having a thorough understanding and an awareness of all the requirements of the 17th edition of the Wiring Regulations, and that is achieved by holding the City and Guilds 2382-10 certificate.

Although there are no pre entry requirements to attend this course, we strongly recommend that you should have prior knowledge of electrical theory, principles and terminologies, together with a basic understanding of electrical installation circuits.
