Course Overview
Course Dates

This course outlines the factors candidates will need to be aware of when working with a safety harness.

Delegates will gain and understanding of:

- Be aware of the relevant health and safety regulations
- Be aware of the needs with regard to Personal Fall Protective Equipment (PFPE) against falls from height and the relevant requirements
- Be able to carry out pre-use checks and maintain a harness and lanyard
- Be able to correctly fit and use a harness and lanyard
- Be aware of different types of anchor point
- Understand the need for rescue after an arrested fall and the first aid response

Valid for 3 years

Duration:

Half Day

The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
