Introduction

This course is for learners that wish to demonstrate their knowledge for the In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment in the UK. It is based primarily on BS7671:2018, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment 4th Edition

The qualification provides under pinning knowledge to comply with current legislation and the new requirements laid out in this new code of practice.

For the course loan copies of the "IET Code of Practice 4th Edition" are available to hire free of charge

Aim

The aim of this course is to enable you to undertake practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment. This qualification specifically addresses the requirements of the IEE Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (4th Edition). Delivery concentrates on this publication through explanation, worked examples and practical ‘hands-on’ tuition.
