Summary

This course teaches the skills required for an understanding to carry out Signing, Lighting and Guarding duties to the standards of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 - the legal framework for street works.

Course Objectives

- Health and Safety

- Understanding how to survey the site

- Protect pedestrians from vehicular traffic and site personnel

- Provide temporary traffic control

- Understanding of the traffic control systems including installing and removing signing, lighting and guarding

- Adhere to safe working practices
